Mr. Benedict Oregbemhe holds a Bachelor Degree (LL.B) from the University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria and a Master’s Degree (LL.M) from the University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria. He also holds a Certificate in Business Management from the European Business University, Luxemburg (EBU).
Mr. Oregbemhe is an expert in investment laws and regulations in Nigeria. Mr. Oregbemhe assists and represents both Nigerian and foreign companies before the regulatory authorities in Nigeria. Mr. Oregbemhe has substantial transactional and commercial litigation experience spanning corporate finance, mining, corporate structuring, corporate immigration law and practice, labour and employment law, real estate and probate practice, insurance, dispute resolution, commercial arbitration and particularly trademark issues and copyright matters.
Mr. Oregbemhe particularly specialises in international trade and investment advisory, start-ups, company formation and secretarial services, conduct due diligence, government regulatory, and compliance. Mr. Oregbemhe handles the incorporation of companies and registration of business with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), establishment of Joint Ventures, registration of Incorporated Trustees, the negotiating and drafting of MoUs, Shareholders’ Agreements. He also handles commercial transactions that involve applying and obtaining from the Ministry of Interior and the Nigerian Immigration Service, business permit, Expatriate quotas and Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Alien Cards (CERPAC).
